The Religious Society of Friends in Hong Kong, from here on known as the Society, is a Quaker organisation. We try to be as clear and transparent as possible. This is an accessibility statement from the Hong Kong Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.

Measures to support accessibility

Religious Society of Friends takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Religious Society of Friends:

  • Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.

Adjusting Text Size

The text size used throughout the site is easily increased or decreased using your browser. A few examples of how to do this using three of the most popular browsers are listed below:

  • Adjusting your text size in Microsoft Internet Explorer:

Select 'Text Size' from the 'View' menu. Select from the list of predefined text sizes ranging from 'Largest' to 'Smallest'.

  • Adjusting your text size in Mozilla Firefox:

Select 'Zoom' from the 'View' menu. Select from the 'Zoom in' or 'Zoom out' options to adjust the font size accordingly.

  • Adjusting your text size in Safari:

Select 'Make Text Bigger' from the 'View' menu. Select 'Make Text Bigger' or 'Make Text Smaller' to adjust the font size accordingly.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Religious Society of Friends is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are constantly working towards achieving this benchmark.
